TEACHING PRACTICE - WEEK 5

 The classes started on 23rd September 2024 after onam exams. Children wore colour dresses as it is opening day after onam vacations. Students seemed to be relaxed and happy after vacation. I started my day with morning discipline duty. In second period, I taught 8A class. The concerned English teacher observed my class and provided feedback. The students actively responded in the process of teaching and learning. During the afternoon, I served midday meals for the students, and I wrapped my day with evening discipline duty.


Second day (24/09/2024): I started my day with morning discipline duty. Later, during 4th period, the concerned optional teacher Mr. Nadeem Surfid. N of BNV CTE came to observe my class. After class, sir gave me suggestions to improve my class. I took the suggestions wholeheartedly, as I wish to improve my teaching process. However, sir appreciated the class as a good one considering the initial stage of teaching practice. As usual, during the afternoon I served a midday meal to the students and wrapped up my day with evening discipline duty.


The rest of the days of the week I took classes for the students to teach them according to the lesson plan. I served midday meals for the students. I also indulged myself in the discipline duty of the school to ensure proper behaviour of the students. In the last two days of the week, the school conducted a youth festival where children got the opportunity to showcase their talent. Watching students enjoy the event made me feel joyous as I travelled back to my good old school days.

Teaching Practice Phase 2- Week 6

  WEEK 6 (9 Dec - 11 Dec) On 9th December I gave corrected answer sheets back to students. Vaisagi L.P got first with a mark 22 out of 25. I gave her a pen as a gift for her achievement. This day I also have shown students my innovative work based on grammar topic 'Noun Phrase'. Students seem attentive as they were curious when I used the model to teach them.  As any other week I served mid day meals for the students and got involved in serving delicious mid day meals for the students. As teaching was nearing an end, the teachers of the school asked us to take photos with them happily.         The last day of teaching practice phase 2 was marked on 11th December 2024. I enjoyed teacher practice a lot even at times when I was frustrated from workload. I truly wish every goodness to dear students. The school gave us farewell party as a token of love.
