Learning Loom

 The classes started on 23rd September 2024 after onam exams. Children wore colour dresses as it is opening day after onam vacations. Students seemed to be relaxed and happy after vacation. I started my day with morning discipline duty. In second period, I taught 8A class. The concerned English teacher observed my class and provided feedback. The students actively responded in the process of teaching and learning. During the afternoon, I served midday meals for the students, and I wrapped my day with evening discipline duty. Second day (24/09/2024): I started my day with morning discipline duty. Later, during 4th period, the concerned optional teacher Mr. Nadeem Surfid. N of BNV CTE came to observe my class. After class, sir gave me suggestions to improve my class. I took the suggestions wholeheartedly, as I wish to improve my teaching process. Onam exams were held for students this week. I got examination duties where I have to help teachers of the school manage students during exams. It was a great pleasure to accompany teachers in the exam hall. This few days enlightened me with the importance of cooperation among teachers in a school. During afternoons, I served midday meals for the students. Every morning and evening I am involved in the discipline duty of the school. Due to wayanad tragedy, the school didn't conduct Onam celebrations. However, the school managed to give mini sadhya to the students. We students and teachers got the opportunity to help make sadhya. We student teachers, along with other teachers, wore Kerala traditional sarees as part of Onam. Overall, this week was a pleasant one. 

First day (02/09/2024): On this particular day, I had to take extra periods where I taught students and prepared them for upcoming exams. I involved myself in daily discipline duty and the midday meal program. I clarified the doubts of the students. Even though exams were near, students seemed less concerned about it. As usual, they were restless and active without preparing for exams.  The exams started on 03/09/2024, and I had to accompany the teachers of the school to take exam duties to ensure that students are well disciplined without copying from others. Throughout all the exams, most of the students seem to be focused, while a few of them tried to copy from other students. However, I warned them to focus on exams properly. Exams for the tenth and ninth standards were held during the morning shift, whereas the eighth standard was held during the afternoon shift. After writing exams, students discussed the answers.
