E - CONTENT

As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, I created E-content based on prepositions. Prepositions are words used  to show a relationship of a noun to other parts of a sentence. Prepositions are crucial in language because they help clarify relationships between different elements in a sentence, such as direction, time, location, and relationships between ideas.  Prepositions are one of the most confusing portions of grammar.  The e-content I made easily conveyed the in-depth details of the topic. In the video, I elaborated on the topic and its varied uses. I also made sure students understood the content through a quiz. The development of e-content to teach students plays an essential role in the technology-driven world.

INNOVATIVE WORK

Image
Innovative work in the B.Ed.   program is essential for developing future educators who can adapt to the evolving  needs of learners and the education system. Innovative work will help learners understand any topic with ease.  Prepositions are one of the  most confusing portions of grammar. Students  often make mistakes on this particular topic. In order to avoid such mistakes, I made an innovative model based on prepositions.  The innovative model I made aimed to  move away from traditional rote learning by incorporating active, visual, and experiential elements. I noticed that students were much more engaged than in previous lessons, as I saw immediate enthusiasm and participation from the students.

PRACTICUM

A practicum is a practical section of a course of study that allows students to gain hands on experience in the field of study. It typically involves working in a professional setting under supervision of experienced professional.  As part of B.Ed curriculum, I have done a practicum on the topic “Explain the changes to be made to address the language learning needs of students affected with Dysgraphia”.  Dysgraphia is a learning disability that affects writing abilities, demands tailored instructional strategies to accommodate these students effectively. The findings I made points out significant challenges these students face, from academic performance issues to emotional and psychological impacts. Implementing inclusive technologies, developing alternative assessment methods, enhancing teacher training, and adapting teaching approaches are critical steps to support these students effectively.

ICT

In today's digital age, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. From communication and information gathering to entertainment and education, technology plays a vital role in shaping our experiences. In the classroom, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionised the way we learn and teach, offering a wide range of benefits that enhance the educational experience.  As a teacher, I used ICT to teach students at GHS Pappanamcode . This experience allowed me to witness firsthand the impact of ICT on student learning and engagement. Students were more engaged and motivated, and they demonstrated a deeper understanding of the material. The effective ICT integration can amplify student attention and interest, creating a dynamic learning environment that prepares students for success in the digital age.
