MICROTEACHING REFLECTION

Microteaching is a teacher training technique that enables educators to refine their teaching skills in a controlled, supportive environment. It was first developed in the early 1960s at Stanford University by Dwight W. Allen and his colleagues. It was created to improve teacher training through a more practical, hands-on approach. Microteaching is widely used in teacher education programs and professional development workshops to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve classroom practices.   As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, teacher trainees need to meet the teaching skills assigned by the teacher educator.
